Power: A 2-megawatt diverse power supply, backed up by a dedicated UPS and generator system. Should the National Grid fail the generators can maintain the power feed indefinitely, general fuel reserve of 24 hours at full load.
Data Backup: All hosting servers are backed up on a daily basis to an offsite location
DNS: Primary, Secondary and Tertiary DNS servers are run on independent networks in different physical locations.
The Network is always connected to the Internet backbone using at least three different providers currently MFN, Level 3 and NewNet.
Bandwidth is supplied on demand.
Connectivity is managed via the BGP4 protocol using Cisco Routers. This provides a high level of redundancy as if one connection fails the others automatically take over without any downtime.
